The Xtreme Splat Paintball Field, is located in Mayer just off Highway 69 and is open on weekends for recreational and competitive paintball play. Next time you are driving through Mayer on the weekend just look on the South side of the road for the big yellow bunkers, and you might even see a bunch of folks running around them with paintball markers and masks. Feel free to stop and watch the action from behind one of the twenty-foot high nets that surround the paintball field.

The paintball community is friendly and very sociable, so if you stop by you'll have the opportunity to ask questions of some enthusiasts ranging from the occassional visitor to the completely obsessed.
